Kathmandu / Nepali consumers can now experience a hassle-free wirefree quality internet service at their doorstep with an attractive bundled offer of multiple services. Ncell Axiata Limited (previously Ncell Private Limited) has launched the first of its kind Wirefree+ Wi-Fi service in Nepal.
The service launched under ongoing umbrella campaign ‘Plus’, has
come into effect from Tuesday (August 04). The Wirefree+ service is the
wireless technology-based Wi-Fi service for homes and businesses. It offers
wireless data connection without cable.
Amazing bundled services and 2 4G SIMs with 5GB to 10GB data in
each SIM depending upon subscription plan, and access to digital contents such as Mobiplex, Hungama Music,
Daami Music and Prabhu TV are the main features of the service that is backed
by 24X7 customer support. The company had started taking pre-booking orders for
the Wirefree+ last month.
Sharing his
excitement on the launch of much anticipated Wirefree+ Wi-fi service, Pradeep
Shrivastava, Chief Commercial Officer Ncell said, “This launch marks a new
beginning of access to wireless data connectivity through wireless technology
to provide a complete new experience with attractive bundled services to
customers. We are overwhelmed with the orders as it indicates the importance of
access to wireless data for customers and we believe this will contribute
towards connecting people with opportunities and going digital.”
Starting at Rs. 690 per month on a yearly subscription,
interested customers depending on their requirements can pick any package from
the three available categories Gold, Platinum
and Diamond. Under the Gold category, customers get 60GB Wirefree+ data, 200
minutes on-net voice call, and 2 4G SIM cards with 5GB data in each SIM every
month at a monthly rental of just Rs. 690 (excluding applicable taxes).
In the Platinum Category, customers are entitled to get 85GB
Wirefree+ data, 500 minutes on-net talk time, and 2 SIM cards with 10GB data on
monthly basis at Rs. 860 (excluding applicable taxes). Similarly, under the
Diamond Category, customers get 100GB Wirefree+ data, 1000 minutes on-net talk
time, and 2 4G SIM cards with 10GB monthly data at monthly payment scheme of
Rs. 950 (excluding applicable taxes).
Customers willing to take advantage of this service can visit
the nearest Ncell Centres across the country. They can also book orders via
mobile wallet Prabhu Pay, Khalti, Prabhu Kiosk, and Ncell Axiata website. Based
on the validity period of the packages, customers are required to pay a
one-time subscription fee of Rs 500, Rs 2,500, or Rs 3,500.
For those customers, who choose packages with a validity of 420
days, the one-time subscription fee has been waived off. Resources of the
Wirefree+ will recur every 30 days based on the service option selected by the
customers. Resources will not accumulate and will expire every 30 days.
During the initial phase, this Wirefree+ Wi-Fi available at various locations in over 40 districts
including from Kanchanpur, Baitadi, Dadeldhura in Far-west to Morang, Sunsari,
and Dhankuta in the East. The company has started the installation of the
service on a first come first serve basis starting with the customers who had
done pre-booking.
